If you are a UK-based SME operating in clean technology, renewables, biotech or digital/data security sectors, you may be eligible to apply for an Imperial innovation voucher.

As part of Imperial new pilot initiative GENERATE designed to help ambitious, high-growth companies create and enhance services and products, solve challenges and collaborate with peers they are offering SMEs a one-off opportunity to claim up to £2,000 worth of tailored support and 1:1 innovation consultancy from Imperial’s community of experts.

Examples of how the vouchers could be used:

 Do you want to scope an innovative idea?

 Do you need specialist help to meet a business challenge?

 Do you need to enhance your products and services

 Do you need access to Imperial’s world-class facilities

Who can apply?

The vouchers will be awarded to eligible businesses. To apply, a businesses must:

Meet the EU definition of an SME

 Be operating within the following sectors or areas; clean technology, renewables, biotech or digital/data security

 Attend an Imperial GENERATE workshop

How can businesses apply?

Businesses need to complete a short application form, telling Imperial about their business and how they can benefit from the voucher.

Imperial’s new pilot initiative launched earlier this month, with a number of immersive, sector workshops in clean tech, bio tech, digi and data securities running in May-June 2018. The workshops hosted at Imperial’s Invention Rooms on their innovation campus in White City, have been carefully designed to give businesses access to cutting-edge academic thinking in a friendly environment; through tours, design thinking brainstorms, case studies and one-to-one discussions for businesses to discuss their unique challenges.
