G.Network, which provides fibre connectivity to businesses in Central London, has raised £4.675m from Albion Capital.

The funding will be used to expand the company’s broadband infrastructure.

G-Network will specifically prioritise areas with significant business density and seeks to install its fibre solution in 70 additional streets before the end of the year.

The company was co-founded by former telecomms execs Sasho Veselinski and David Sangster, who commented on the funding: "As we continue to build a loyal and committed customer base throughout Central London, we’re ambitious about our objective to provide SMEs with affordable, ultrafast fibre broadband without the inefficiencies of legacy networks."
