What is InContext Solutions?

InContext Solutions is a cutting-edge provider of 3D virtual reality simulation software that enables confident decisions within the retail ecosystem. We are headquartered in Chicago with our an office in London. We use the latest in video game technology to recreate life-like shopping experiences, and use them as a vehicle for visualizing and testing an almost limitless variety of in-store concepts and variables – from signage to new product packing, to interactive displays and completely re-imagined retail experiences. It allows our clients to identify opportunities for growth, reduce cost invested in evaluating these, mitigate risk of failed investment and get to market faster than traditional approaches.

Position Summary

The Vice President of Business Development is an individual contributor role and a critical member of our UK sales team reporting into the GVP of Sales. You will be 1 of 2 sales executives in our UK office driving the expansion of InContext’s European customer base. You will be part of building our UK office which means you will be handling all aspects of the sales cycle from identifying leads to close. In this role you will be providing prospective customers an introduction to our SAAS software and research solutions by proactively targeting prospects and presenting our capabilities. You will be actively marketing our solutions to senior executives within consumer packaged goods, retail, and dining companies.

Qualifications

- 8+ years consultative sales experience with demonstrated success in selling and closing a Saas product. (i.e. Multi-year contracts, $mill contracts,).

- Proven ability to independently identify, pitch, propose, and close prospective clients

- Ability to effectively work in a remote environment as part of a small team (regional)

- Familiarity with common business challenges encountered by consumer goods manufacturers and retailers; including the roles of Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Sales and Shopper insights departments.

- Competent and comfortable with demo’ing Gaming Technology.

- Strong listening and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to effectively prioritize your time in a fast-paced environment.

- Must have a strong executive presence and high level of confidence.

- Strong pipeline management skills; knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

- Ability to use metrics in order to understand your performance as it relates back to the business.

- A hungry individual with an innate sense of curiosity and entrepreneurship, along with a desire to independently solve business challenges with customized solutions.

- 30-40% of travel time required.
