Opportunity: Senior Technical Solutions Engineer

The Technical Solutions team executes various web development projects and consultative duties for our internal departments and clients. The main focus of the Technical Solutions team is to support the integration of the Yieldify platform and campaigns onto a wide variety of customer websites.

Once integrated, our Technical Solutions Engineers aid internal teams with driving new innovation and optimising existing setups by developing a holistic, yet in-depth, view of the product in order to consult on the best technical strategy forward - allowing us to offer a unique portfolio of products.

- You love variety and sinking your teeth into complex technical challenges/projects.

- You’re as cool as a cucumber when dealing with deadlines.

- You like working with different types of people - from fellow techies to non-technical people.

- You want to see the difference you make to the end user firsthand.

- You like the odd ping pong tournament!

You’ll be working on:

- Solving customer problems using a variety of methods such as: innovative solutions, reverse engineering customer-side code and responding to various ad-hoc technical issues.

- Debugging the technical setup of a campaign that is not functioning correctly. Providing a scalable fix where necessary.

- Performing implementation reviews to ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.

- Guaranteeing the delivery of technical aspects of an integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary guidance.

- Driving innovation by developing bespoke and creative campaigns that have the highest browser compatibility.

- Consulting with Project Managers, Sales Managers and Account Managers.

- Bug spotting and effectively raising them to Engineering and affirming their proposed fixes moving forward.

- Support local teams across different offices in their day to day analysis, technical troubleshooting and requests. This could be via email, client calls or in person.

- Contribute to improving internal tools and business processes, improving productivity and building infrastructure for onboarding and ongoing support.

We’re looking for people with:

- Bachelor degree of 2:1 or higher (technical speciality preferable).

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript.

- Competent in coding HTML, CSS by hand.

- Knowledge of Regex, Dev Tools, Web Animations and JS Frameworks are a bonus.

- An appetite for learning demonstrated by an interest and passion for the latest web development trends.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and an ability to convey technical concepts in a way that are digestible for customers and non-technical partners.

- Hard working, team-oriented, bright, creative and exceptional problem-solving skills.

- Ideally 1-2+ years of commercial experience.

What will you get from us?

Guidance - we’ll give you all the training and tools you’ll need in order to become successful from your first day with us.

Autonomy - after you’ve got to grips with how things work here, we’ll encourage you to become a trusted member of the team flying solo on lots of smaller projects and we’ll support you as you build yourself up to take on projects for our prestigious larger customers.

Education - we champion self-learners who are dedicated to their own growth and development. We’ll encourage you to share your knowledge with the team and support you as you expand your mind and skills; we provide regular tech talks and learning opportunities, as well as tuition credit and discounts on General Assembly courses.
