SeedLegals is a brand new legaltech startup that uses machine learning, document automation and very clever engineering to revolutionise the way startups complete the legal process for their funding rounds. Founders and investors can now complete the entire process for a funding round online, in a fraction of the time and cost that it used to take. Just 6 months after launching, SeedLegals now helps close 2 funding rounds every day, making our platform the largest closer of startup funding rounds in the UK.

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and innovative Startup Funding Associate to join our growing team (9 of us!) at a very exciting time.

You will be the primary source of support, guidance and advice for startups commencing their funding round, helping them get investment ready, ensuring a seamless on-boarding process and help them create their initial funding round documents on the SeedLegals platform.


You will connect and assist our wonderful customers through Skype or instant chat, helping them do everything they need to complete the documentation for their funding round via our platform, including:

- Getting the user ready for investment

- Assisting with cap table management

- Helping customers build their Term Sheet Shareholders Agreement

- Articles of Association


We’re looking for an exceptionally talented, high energy individual who understands the amazing journey founders’ take, and the importance of support and guidance at this incredibly exciting but challenging time in their company lifecycle, in addition to practical experience of the early stage fundraising process.

You will ideally have 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

- Working with, and supporting startups as part of an accelerator, angel network or early stage VC or similar

- Previously founded a company or worked within a high growth early stage team, especially SaaS

- Acted as an advisor, mentor or angel investor for startup companies or Corporate Law degree or experience with the legal and commercial side of the fundraising process


- Friendly and consultative approach

- Appreciate the importance of great communication and support for founders

- Passionate about working with startups and always take that extra mile
