Looking for the perfect challenge to do interesting, impactful work in an entrepreneurial non-profit organization? We are looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic person with a start-up mentality to support our programmes.

The Collective Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to create opportunities for those who want to make a difference. Our programmes help talented individuals to unlock their potential and to impact their communities. We give opportunities to the future leaders, activists and entrepreneurs of today. Our flagship programme is The Collective Global Accelerator, a programme that supports social entrepreneurs from all over the world.

We are looking for a Programme Associate to support organizing The Collective Global Accelerator. Please read through to have a good sense of the programme.

- Handling the application process. This means finding, reviewing and liaising with candidates. Last year we received 3,500+ applications and only accepted 9 people!

- Designing the programme. You will help to design the best possible 4-week start-up accelerator programme, with a mixture of workshops, networking opportunities and events to help social entrepreneurs and their businesses grow significantly.

- Preparing the programme. This means making sure that the programme you design will actually happen - so finding trainers for workshops, e-mailing with partner organizations to have events with them, organizing other small events, and more. It's mainly a lot of e-mailing and calling. You may even be able to organize some of the big events including Demo Day.

- Liaising with partners. Communicating with mentors, partner organizations, workshop trainers and more.

You will report directly to and be coached by the Director of The Collective Foundation.

- You are highly autonomous and learn quick. When you are given trust and freedom, you thrive and are at your most productive.

- You are entrepreneurial and have been in a start-up environment before, or truly believe this is the best environment for you.

- You have experience in project management.

- You have a positive and energetic attitude and can handle stress well.

- Being part of a small team. Fast communication, no hierarchy, being able to make a real impact on the organization and with the work that you do.

- Opportunity to grow into a leadership role. As an early employee, it may be possible for you to grow into a leadership role as our organization will scale rapidly in the upcoming years.

- Being able to work remotely. Many tasks can be done remotely, so we can discuss it if you'd like to work from home sometimes.

- Growing your network. This is a typical role that allows you to connect with tons of people in the start-up, technology and social enterprise scene. You'll make highly valuable connections in these industries.

- Freedom. Trust. If you do well, you'll quickly earn the freedom to take the accelerator to the next level, and the trust to do it however you want. We love new ideas, so we're happy to listen to any you may have.

Hours: 36-40 hours per week.

Remote or in London: Many tasks can be done remotely, so we can discuss it if you'd like to work from home. Being based in London is a big plus. However, all of this can be discussed - please send your hours and location preferences with your job application.
