We are seeking a light-to-midweight web developer to join our team on a full-time basis.

Based in Shoreditch, 48.1 is a creative design agency that prides itself on designing and crafting websites and branding that is underpinned by a determination to open minds, not close doors. *Who we are seeking*

We are looking for someone who is familiar with and capable of building websites in WordPress and will have the following skills:


- Vanilla JS (not just jQuery)

- WordPress theme and plugin development

Additionally, they will have worked with or can skill up quickly regarding the following:


- Object Orientated Design

- Containers/Dockers

- ES6

- JS Frameworks


- E-commerce integrations

- Task runners/package managers such as Grunt, Gulp and Webpack

- Version Control (Git & Github), and Agile development processes

Our ideal candidate will need the confidence to work both as part of our current dedicated dev team or individually in order to produce site builds from concepts.

2+ years of commercial experience with a portfolio of live and personal projects is ideal, however, if you have a robust portfolio of work and the motivation to grow with us, candidates with experience under 2 years may still be considered.

We offer a competitive employment package with perks including a personal development budget as well as an annual company trip. Salary expectations are between £30-35k and are negotiable dependent on experience.
