London Co-Investment Fund, which was launched by the Deputy Mayor of London at City Hall, is founded and managed by Funding London and Capital Enterprise. LCIF has raised £25m from the Mayor of London’s Growing Places Fund to co-invest in seed rounds between £250,000 – £1,000,000, led by our selected co-investment partners.

The stated aim of LCIF is not to fund London tech businesses that otherwise would not get funded but rather to enable those who can raise, to raise significantly more so that they have a sufficient money, time and resources to prove their business model.

This way London based tech startups will be more able to raise their next round of funding and thereafter become the great tech companies that London wants and requires.

LCIF’s six co-investment partners has been selected based on their excellent track records of investing and supporting early stage tech businesses in London.

The LCIF partners are working with Capital Enterprise’s service Capital List to source eligible tech businesses for investment. To apply for funding through LCIF, startups has to fulfill the following criteria:

● Have a London based office

● Look to fundraise £250,000 to £1,000,000

● Provide a product or service within the science, tech or digital sectors
