As part of Gigglebyte – our new tech meets comedy festival, Upstream is pleased to present a happy and helpful talk – what more could you ask for….

We know laughter is important to well-being but might it also be harnessed to improve the bottom line? Does humour not only enliven the office, but also the brains that work in it? Is there a justification for that lighthearted sarcasm that your line-manager shows at each meeting?

This talk brings together a fabulously curated panel, each with unique perspectives on how, why and when humour has made a positive difference to entrepreneurs, startups and businesses.

Join Sarah Archer (Storytelling and business coach), Paul Coleman(BAFTA award-winning writer of Car Share), Steve North (General Manager, UKTV Comedy & Entertainment including Dave) and Dr. Steven Cross (comedian and communications coach) for a special evening on how humour has powered the success of businesses.

Upstream is here to support innovation, collaboration and business growth. We are here to make Hammersmith & Fulham a place to thrive and to help transform White City into an innovation district. We are a joint venture between Imperial College and Hammersmith & Fulham Council and our focus is on the biotech, digital and creative industries.
