DevelopHer, The Bravest Path Personal Coaching and GSB Comms are excited to invite you to a full-day workshop around the power of vulnerability, communication and storytelling, made possible by our event sponsor Qubit. Attendees will leave the day feeling energised and inspired to take smart risks and be courageous to start showing up and living brave in 2018.

Attendees will also have a chance to learn and practice their communication skills with an interactive fun workshop. They will be equipped with new communication skills to tell their story and improve their public speaking.

This workshop will also serve as an information kick-off to the DevelopHer 2018 Coaching Programme, for which DevelopHer will select 12 people to for exclusive 6-month coaching. If you are interested in applying to the programme, or would like to meet the programme leaders, this is the perfect opportunity to do so!

This workshop will be lead by Bethan Davies and Richard Garrett, with an introduction by one of the DevelopHer Board Members. The Workshop will be split into two parts, Bethan will speak in the morning and Richard in the afternoon.

Bethan has over 10 years' experience within the Finance and Hi-tech sectors, working for Autodesk, Prudential and Munich Re in regional and global leadership positions. Her most recent role involved leading Talent, Learning & Development across Europe & Africa with a focus on building a more inclusive, authentic, brave and collaborative culture. She co-founded the Bravest Path to bring a different approach to developing individuals and organisational cultures, making workplaces more human and humane. As a transformational coach Bethan focuses on helping women be bolder, self- compassionate and authentic, and regularly partners with boards and senior teams designing and facilitating programs to deliver sustainable behavioural and cultural change.

Richard Garnett was a professional actor for 15 years in TV, film and theatre (including the West End, Broadway and lead roles in the Royal Shakespeare Company). In 1995 – after a year in which his third child was born and he spent five months away from home – he decided that a change was required and he began the process of building up what has now become a substantial practice as a consultant in communications skills. He typically works with the most senior levels of management in professional services, Private Equity firms, Tech and PE portfolio businesses. We look forward to welcoming Richard back to DevelopHer to teach public speaking and storytelling skills. This was one of our most popular events ever so tickets will fly out. Please only take a ticket if you can definitely attend.

A full itinerary with details will be sent to ticket holders.
