The global economy is impacting cities in how government is run, elected officials behave, and the way entrepreneurs are building their companies. In cities around the world, political and business leaders are proactively positioning themselves within the global economy. Local elected officials are becoming international diplomats and local entrepreneurs are creating ‘born global' companies. This talk will explore the changing behaviours and tactics empowering city leaders and entrepreneurs to think outside international geopolitical boundaries and create their own success stories at the global level.
